Today I was rereading "The Blessing of Favor" by Kate McVeigh. Right now we are in this financial recession. They say one of the worst since the Great Depression. I was reminded about all of God's promises He made in his word:
"God is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all we ask or think." Ephesians 3:20
This catches my eye over and over again. But so many of us either glance over it or don't remember it. I know I do.
He always brings us back to His word to see us through the storm. This is where we can begin to find the favor in our lives is by reading His promises He met for others.
Right now our financial situation is becoming difficult. Being self-employed is tough and being in construction is even tougher. But I know God will see us through it all because "God is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all we ask or think"! Amen!
The important thing is not to look for the blessing before the favor, but the favor that He has given as a blessing.
2016 Update: I love going through years past writings. God is truly amazing. To look back and see all that we walked through and endured. It was differently a But God time in our lives.
