Seasoned With Salt

Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone. – Colossians 4:6 As  a woman in 2011 I am asking God to make me salty.  Salt has three characteristics: first, it stings; second, it heals; and third, it preserves. In the same way,  I want my words to be filled with grace, yet they cut to the heart.

In the latter part of that verse, so that you may know how to answer everyone, it is not easy to learn.  It is only learned in that place of being fully absorbed by God. When we are in that place, we seek to glorify Him and can impart into another words that our so powerful that only awakens and saves them from their circumstance.

Use the salt!

Use the stinging; use the healing for their preservation!

You are seasoned with salt!

Do you find yourself salty that stings but can also provide the words that will heal and preserve them? Explain.
