A Walk to Remember

My 6am Walk

This morning I was up at 4am and could not go back to sleep. It was one of those nights that so much was on my mind that I couldn’t catch up. How many have felt that?  When some days it feels there is just not enough time to get it all done. Or maybe there’s not enough of you to go around.

Finally at 6am I decided to get some sweats on and go for a walk. No phone - just me and God. As I am walking I begin to get my mind to settle and ask God what am I doing? I feel like I am chasing the wind?

He reminded me of where I’m at in my life. I am doing the thing that He has called me to do - ministering to women. This week I also found out that my “territory” (2 Chronicles 4:9-10) has been enlarged with MOPS. So why am I asking God to direct my path to where He wants me to go? When He reminds me that your right smack dab in the middle of it!

What more do you want!

Now you have to do the rest!

Afterwards, I came in the house and opened my Bible to Proverbs 4 and read about wisdom.

Proverbs 4:6 says “Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you, love her, and she will honor you .”

I don’t want to forsake His wisdom in my life. God has given me so much already that I need to stop asking and start doing what He has asked me to do. All for Him!
